About Me

Baking was always my passion, since I was a little girl, and over the years I learned a lot from my mum. 
Having children myself now, I enjoy making treats for my family.I always loved baking cakes. 

When a friend asked me one time, to make her Wedding Cake, I decided to give it a try. It turned out very well, so I thought, I'd share my creations with you. In the meantime, I made 2 more Wedding Cakes for my Brother-in-Law & Sister-in-Law, as well as Birthday Cakes & Christening Cakes for my kids, Family & Friends.

I love reading recipe's and sitting down in the evening with a good Baking Book, always on the look-out for new recipes to try. 
I must say, I have fabulous friends and fantastic neighbours, who are always willing to try my latest bake. 
Seeing the smile on their faces, when they're taking the first bite - happiness and pure bliss :) 
It is so easy to put a smile on someone's face, to make their day and it is a pleasure for me to be able to do just that. 

After planning it for quite a while, I finally managed to start my blog. mainly so I can find my favourite recipes but as well to share them with you. My dreams is to open a small Tea-Room with lots of different cakes and a little area where i can teach Children how to bake - one day.
